synopsis

Making wine is an art. An art that for centuries inspires, evokes, inebriates those who relishes. Who makes wine knows he’s creating a sensation, an inner pleasure, and that the outcome of his vocation could be appreciated in who knows what place of the world for who knows what an occasion. This is Roberto’s work, a farmer who lives in a small village in the province of Prato: Carmignano. In everyday life he’s a peasant, but has big plans for the future, first of all, to make his wine known all over the world. Next to Robert there’s Elena, a wine and agricultural techniques scholar who works at the farm during summertime. The two share work moments and daily life in the winery, along the rows, through the Carmignano countryside.
